The 930 changed the trajectory of the 911. Introduced in the mid-1970s as Porsche's first production turbocharged road car, it transformed the familiar rear-engined platform into something far more demanding, earning a reputation that continues to define the Turbo badge today. By 1988, the platform had reached the final years of its production run, combining the iconic wide-body silhouette with the 3.3-liter intercooled flat-six that made the model famous.

This example tells a different story. Showing 80,510 miles, it has been extensively developed in many of the areas enthusiasts have historically sought to improve, while retaining the ability to return the car to a more factory-correct presentation.

Power comes from a rebuilt 3.3-liter flat-six completed by Keith Peare at Powertech in Rockaway, New Jersey. Per the accompanying documentation, the rebuild was completed in July 2023 at approximately 77,970 miles and included new Mahle pistons and cylinders, twin-plug ignition, 36mm Turbokraft billet injection blocks, SC camshafts, a K27 turbocharger, Tial wastegate with a 0.9 bar spring, stainless steel headers, lightweight flywheel, lowered first gear, and competition clutch.

The chassis has received a similarly comprehensive treatment. Moton two-way suspension, an OS Giken limited-slip differential, reinforced rear spring plates, Rennshift shifter, Stomski coupler, and RUF Speedline wheels contribute to a package assembled with a clear focus on drivability rather than originality alone.

The exterior takes inspiration from the Mid Night Club and Wangan tuner builds of the 1990s. An Autogarage TBK front bumper, RUF rear bumper, custom rocker panels fabricated by Johnny Daibatsu in Tokyo, and a GT-style rear wing give the car a distinct period-correct presence while remaining true to the ethos of the era. The original exterior components have been retained and are included with the sale.

Importantly, the car's evolution has not come at the expense of future flexibility. Included in the sale are the original comfort seats, steering wheel, bumpers, rear decklid, wing, and rocker panels, allowing the next owner to retain the current specification or move the car closer to its factory presentation if desired.

Recent service and development work has been performed by Powertech, including valve adjustment, CIS fuel system tuning, alignments, brake fluid service, differential service, and ongoing maintenance. Documentation accompanies the car and spans two owners, including records relating to the build and subsequent servicing.

Securely stored in Brooklyn, New York, ready for delivery, and accompanied by documentation, two keys, its Porsche air compressor, tool kit, and original take-off components.
