By the early 1990s the Lancia Delta had become more than a performance hatchback. It was a cultural shorthand for rally dominance. Developed as the road-going counterpart to Lancia’s Group A competition cars, the Delta HF Integrale formed the backbone of a program that secured six consecutive World Rally Championship manufacturers’ titles between 1987 and 1992.

While the Delta’s mythology was forged on European rally stages, Japan emerged as one of the most important enthusiast markets for the Integrale during its production years. Strong domestic interest in WRC, favorable import conditions, and a culture that emphasized meticulous upkeep and period-correct modification resulted in many Integrales being preserved and enhanced to a high standard. Today, Japanese-market cars represent some of the most thoughtfully maintained and cohesively specified examples in circulation.

The Evoluzione II represents the final and most developed iteration of the Delta HF Integrale lineage. Introduced in 1993, it featured revised fuel injection, 215 horsepower from its turbocharged 2.0-liter 16-valve inline-four, and further chassis and suspension development. Production of the Evoluzione II was limited to approximately 3,500 examples worldwide, marking the end of Lancia’s rally-derived road car program and cementing the model’s status as one of the defining performance cars of the 1990s.

This example was sourced from Japan and received a full service prior to export by Bingo Motorsports in Tokyo. The work was completed before arrival and establishes a clear mechanical baseline.

The car is configured to a period-correct rally specification rather than factory originality. Interior changes include earlier 16V door panels and Sparco rally seats reupholstered in black leather. Mechanical upgrades include a bespoke Inconel titanium exhaust system, a mechanical rear limited-slip differential, and a parallel-link rear suspension with highly sought after adjustable Aragosta coilovers.

Exterior details include works-style mirrors and lightweight FRP bumpers. The car is offered with its original mirrors and bumpers and is supplied with three complete sets of wheels, including the factory wheels and the highly desirable Speedline Montecarlo 8x17 magnesium wheels.

This is an enthusiast-specified Evoluzione II that reflects a period approach to rally-inspired modification, emphasizing mechanical intent and driver engagement over factory reference condition.
